O GUARANI – UM OLHAR PARA O PASSADO PARA A COMPREENSÃO DO PRESENTE
O objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar as dinâmicas sociais problemáticas envolvendo as personagens femininas presentes na obra O Guarani de José de Alencar sob a ótica da crítica feminista envolvendo também o viés histórico da sociedade. Foram pesquisadas/estudadas autoras pertinentes para a discussão de gênero, principalmente Simone de Beauvoir e Judith Butler e o livro de José de Alencar no qual são encontrados traços sociais presentes na realidade atual que dizem respeito ao machismo, ao patriarcalismo e a desigualdade de gênero. Por isso é de suma importância que ocorra uma análise da ótica literária sob o viés do cânone, pois dessa maneira abre-se uma possibilidade de discussão entre discentes do Ensino Médio para determinadas dinâmicas sociais como o patriarcalismo e o machismo que continuam presentes nas relações cotidianas. No romance indianista as personagens que melhor ilustram esse cenário são as mulheres: Cecília, Isabel e D. Lauriana. As três vivem sob um regime patriarcal que limita importantes questões como as relações matrimoniais, as questões étnicas e de classe. Os resultados obtidos conferem que as personagens estudadas tiveram suas vidas conduzidas para que não pudessem ter autonomia necessária no comando da própria vida.

Abstract:
The objective of this work was to analyze the problematic social dynamics involving the female characters present in the work O Guarani by José de Alencar, from the point of view of feminist criticism, also involving the historical bias of society. Relevant authors for gender discussion were studied, mainly Simone de Beauvoir and Judith Butler. José de Alencar’s book as primary source, presents the social traits in the realm that relate to sexism, patriarchy and gender inequality. For this reason, an analysis of the literary perspective under the bias of the canon is of the utmost importance, since it provides a possibility of discussion for students of Secondary School of certain social dynamics, such as patriarchy and chauvinism, that remain in everyday relationships. In the novel Indianista, the characters that best illustrate this scenario are the women: Cecilia, Isabel and D. Lauriana. All of them live under a patriarchal system that limits important matters, such as marital relations, ethnic and class issues. The obtained results imply that the studied characters had their lives driven so that they could not have the necessary autonomy in the command of their own lives
