O GEOPLANO E O GEOESPAÇO PARA COMUNICAÇÃO MATEMÁTICA: A EXTENSÃO UNIVERSITÁRIA NUMA ESCOLA DO MUNICÍPIO DE CAMPINA GRANDE-PB
O presente Relato de Experiência refere-se a um dos minicurso com o Geoplano e outro com o Geoespaço, na Escola Básica, no âmbito do Projeto de Extensão intitulado Comunicando Matemática a partir de Materiais Manipuláveis e em Formulação e Resolução de Problemas, desenvolvido no âmbito do PROBEX-UEPB 2015/2016, sob minha coordenação. O objetivo deste relato é apresentar alguns momentos relevantes de ambos os Minicursos. Nos dois, os ministrantes, futuros professores, pediram para os alunos responderem a um questionário e interpretarem os conteúdos matemáticos que o Geoplano e o Geoespaço comunicavam a eles, bem como formularam e resolveram problemas matemáticos com estes conteúdos. Quando concluíram as tarefas, além de conhecer o Geoplano e o Geoespaço foi explorada a comunicação matemática que este material “falava” para os alunos, indicaram os conteúdos matemáticos comunicados, o que lhes propiciou formular e resolver problemas matemáticos. Os problemas formulados e resolvidos ainda tinham muito a característica de exercícios, mas foi um início promissor, que se for explorada constantemente, esta atividade poderá trazer contribuições para a superação da matematofobia, melhorar a relação dos alunos com a escrita da língua materna nas aulas de Matemática, entre muitos outros aspectos auspiciosos.

Abstract:
This Experience Report refers to one of the minicourses with Geoplane and other one with Geospace, in the Basic School, within the sphere of the Extension Project entitled Communicating Mathematics from Manipulable Materials and in Problems Formulation and Solving, developed within the PROBEX-UEPB 2015/2016 scope, under my coordination. The purpose of this report is presenting some relevant moments of both Minicourses. In either of them, the leader, future teachers, asked the students to answer a questionnaire and to interpret the mathematical contents that the Geoplane and the Geospace communicated to them, as well as they formulated and solved mathematical problems with these contents. When they completed the tasks, in addition to knowing the Geoplane and the Geospace, it was explored the mathematical communication that this material “expressed” to the students, they indicated the mathematical contents communicated, what enabled them to formulate and solve mathematical problems. The problems formulated and solved still had the characteristic of exercises, but it was a promising beginning, which in case it is explored constantly, this activity can bring contributions to overcome mathematophobia, to improve the relationship between students and the writing of their mother tongue in the Mathematics classes, among many other auspicious aspects.
