O FUNCIONAMENTO DO CÉREBRO E OS PROCESSOS COGNITIVOS ENVOLVIDOS NO ATO DE LER NUMA PERSPECTIVA DA NEUROCIÊNCIA
O presente artigo tem como
finalidade apresentar os aspectos referentes
ao funcionamento do cérebro humano no ato
de ler e os aspectos cognitivos envolvidos
na leitura. Constitui-se de uma revisão
bibliográfica realizada no período de março a
maio de 2017 em livros didáticos, com aporte
teórico de autores contemporâneos do campo
da Neurociência e das Ciências Cognitiva. O
ser humano, ao longo de seu desenvolvimento,
interage com seu ambiente, por meio dos mais
variados comportamentos, que resultará em
diferentes aprendizados. Para tal, é necessário
um conjunto de funções cerebrais que permitem
a recepção e o processamento de estímulos
(internos e externos). Sob essa perspectiva, a
leitura constitui-se numa importante atividade
cognitiva, pois, além de permitir ao ser humano a
apropriação de bens culturais, é uma ferramenta
propulsora da evolução humana.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to
present aspects related to the functioning of
the human brain in reading and the cognitive
aspects involved in reading. It is a bibliographical
review carried out in the period from March
to May 2017 in textbooks, with the theoretical
contribution of contemporary authors in the
field of Neuroscience and Cognitive Sciences.
The human being, throughout his development,
interacts with his environment, through the most
varied behaviors, that will result in different
learning. This requires a set of brain functions
that allow the reception and processing of
stimuli (internal and external). From this
perspective, reading constitutes an important
cognitive activity, since, besides allowing the
human being the appropriation of cultural
goods, it is a propulsive tool of human evolution.
