O FIM DO “DEPENDE”: JURIMETRIA DOS PROCESSOS DA 7ª SECRETARIA ESPECIAL CÍVEL DE CURITIBA/PR ENTRE 2015 e 2017
Através de levantamento bibliográfico e pesquisa empírica, realizada com o apoio e parceria da empresa Jurimetric, que selecionou a população a ser analisada e disponibilizou a plataforma para cadastramento dos processos e posterior análise dos resultados, foi possível fornecer um panorama das decisões proferidas pela Sétima Secretaria Especial Cível de Curitiba/Pr, que versa sobre acidentes de trânsito, ficando demonstrada a incidência da pacificação jurisprudencial no sentido que o deferimento de reparação a título de danos morais somente é cabível em casos graves, ou seja, aqueles que tiveram como resultado mutilações, sequelas, dano estético grave ou óbito. Ademais, foi possível concluir que o juizado em questão tem atendido à função de pacificação social, em razão do elevado número de acordos realizados quando comparado aos casos em que tiveram proferida sentença, restando uma possível agenda de pesquisa consistente na averiguação dos demais juizados especiais, a fim de concluir se estes também atendem ao princípio da pacificação social ou se esta é característica da matéria atinente a delitos de trânsito.

Abstract:
Through a bibliographical survey and empirical research, carried out with the support and partnership of the Jurimetric company, which selected the population to be analyzed and made available the platform for registration of the processes and subsequent analysis of the results, it was possible to provide an overview of the decisions issued by the seventh special civil court processes of the city of Curitiba, Brazil which deals with traffic accidents, demonstrating the incidence of jurisprudential pacification in the sense that the granting of compensation for moral damages is only applicable in serious cases, that is, those that have resulted in mutilations, severe esthetic damage or death. In addition, it was possible to conclude that the court in question has served the function of social pacification, due to the high number of agreements made when compared to the cases in which they were rendered, leaving a possible research agenda consisting on the investigation of the other special courts, in order to conclude whether they also comply with the principle of social pacification or whether this is characteristic of the matter of traffic offenses only.
