O ESTADO E A FAMÍLIA COMO RESPONSÁVEIS PELA EFETIVAÇÃO DO DIREITO SOCIAL FUNDAMENTAL À EDUCAÇÃO
O presente artigo, com metodologia bibliográfica e documental, tem por objetivo abordar o direito social fundamental à educação e suas principais normas garantidoras no país. Verifica a relação intrínseca entre a efetivação do direito à educação e o respeito ao princípio da dignidade da pessoa humana, bem como à formação de indivíduos para o exercício de uma cidadania plena. Conclui que as responsabilidades tanto do Estado quanto da família para a realização do direito social à educação são inafastáveis, solidárias e complementares, e que da realização desse direito dependem a proteção à dignidade humana e a promoção da cidadania.

Abstract:
This article, with a bibliographical and documentary methodology, aims to address the fundamental social right to education and its main norms in the country. It verifies the intrinsic relation between the education right and the respect for the dignity of the human person, as well as the formation of individuals for the exercise of citizenship. It concludes that the responsibilities of both the State and the family for the realization of the social right to education are inalienable, supportive and complementary, and that the realization of this right is mandatory for the protection of human dignity and citizenship rights.
