O ESTADO DA ARTE: ESTUDO COMPARATIVO SOBRE OS DESAFIOS PROFISSIONAIS E O OLHAR ATUAL DO GESTOR ESCOLAR SOBRE SUA PRÁTICA
O presente artigo tem como
propósito analisar e trazer discussões que
possam favorecer a formação, tanto inicial
como em serviço, e mostrar os desafios
enfrentados no dia-a-dia do gestor. Isso foi
realizado através de um estudo comparativo
entre o que nos mostra o estado da arte sobre
os desafios profissionais e o olhar do próprio
gestor escolar sobre sua prática. A metodologia
adotada, apresenta-se como uma pesquisa no
contexto da investigação qualitativa, e como
instrumento de coleta de dados aplicou-se um
questionário semiestruturado, por constituir
um instrumento que possibilita captar as
visões dos sujeitos sobre sua prática docente.
A pesquisa de campo envolveu dez gestores
de escolas particulares e públicas da cidade
de Engenheiro Coelho\SP. Esses gestores,
responderam perguntas sobre a sua prática
administrativa e identificaram as dificuldades
e necessidades que encontram e comentaram
sobre as propostas e planejamentos para
melhoria do ambiente de trabalho. Concluise que os desafios enfrentados pelo gestor
escolar na prática coincidem com os desafios
elencados pela atual literatura. Por fim, afirmase que a formação inicial do gestor deveria
aproximar mais a teoria e prática, abordar
aspectos sobre planejamento, envolvimento
com a equipe e competência profissional, pois
essas perspectivas foram apontadas como
desafios encarados pelo gestor escolar. Para
desenvolver sua função, os gestores precisam
fazer uso de múltiplas habilidades e saberes,
além de focar na motivação da equipe para que
a mesma esteja engajada na construção do
projeto político pedagógico, para assim juntos
conseguirem superar os desafios diários e
favorecer uma gestão mais democrática.

Abstract:
The purpose of this article is to
analyze and bring up discussions that may favor
training, both initial and in service, and to show
the challenges faced in the manager’s day-today life. This was done through a comparative
study between what shows us the state of
the art about professional challenges and the
school manager’s own view of his practice. The
methodology adopted is presented as a research in the context of qualitative research,
and as a data collection instrument, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied,
since it is an instrument that allows to capture the subjects’ views about their teaching
practice. Field research involved ten managers from private and public schools in
the city of Engineer Coelho \ SP. These managers answered questions about their
administrative practice and identified the difficulties and needs they encountered
and commented on proposals and plans for improving the work environment. It is
concluded that the challenges faced by the school manager in practice coincide with
the challenges presented by the current literature. Finally, it is stated that the initial
training of the manager should bring theory and practice closer, approach aspects of
planning, team involvement and professional competence, as these perspectives were
identified as challenges faced by the school manager. In order to develop their role,
managers need to make use of multiple skills and knowledge, as well as focus on the
team’s motivation so that it is engaged in the construction of the pedagogical political
project, so that together they can overcome the daily challenges and favor a more
democratic management.
