O ESPAÇO DO LIVRO E AS NOVAS TECNOLOGIAS: PROBLEMATIZAÇÃO CONTEMPORÂNEA DA LEITURA
O presente artigo objetiva
problematizar a leitura nos espaços do livro e
das novas tecnologias. Desde a popularização
da internet e de suas ferramentas de linguagem
a leitura passou e passa por transformações,
porém, não ignora o espaço legado pelo livro
como um acervo e uma fonte de leituras.
Decorrente do aumento indelével no uso das
novas tecnologias, plataformas virtuais, a
leitura passou a carecer de maior observação,
sobretudo, por agora possuir características
ainda não tão conhecidas e poder gerar
impactos imprevistos. Diante desse quadro,
cotejamos vozes de distintos lugares para
traçar considerações acerca da problemática
contemporânea da leitura; uma dessas é de
uma entrevista de Umberto Eco, uma outra de
uma entrevista com presidente do Instituto para
o futuro do livro, Eduardo Szklarz. Tanto uma
quanto a outra nos remetem aos contrapontos
realizados a partir de uma bibliografia teórica
para compor a discussão qualitativamente
analítica.

Abstract:
The present article aims to
problematize the reading in the spaces of the
book and the new technologies. Since the
popularization of the Internet and its language
tools, reading has gone through transformations,
but it does not ignore the space inherited by the
book as a collection and a source of readings.
As a result of the indelible increase in the use
of new technologies, virtual platforms, reading
has become more imperative, especially for the
moment, it has features that are not yet well
known and can generate unforeseen impacts.
Before this picture, we compare voices from
different places to draw up considerations about
the contemporary problematic of reading; one
of those is from an interview by Umberto Eco,
another from an interview with the Institute’s
president for the future of the book, Eduardo
Szklarz. Both refer to the counterpoints made
from a theoretical bibliography to compose the
qualitatively analytical discussion.
