O ENSINO SUPERIOR DE ADMINISTRAÇÃO NO BRASIL: REFLETINDO SOBRE CURRÍCULOS, CURSOS E FORMAÇÃO DE ADMINISTRADORES
O objetivo deste artigo é falar
sobre o Ensino Superior de Administração
no Brasil. Nesse sentido, vale destacar que o
estudo apresentado aqui é parte integrante
da pesquisa que foi desenvolvida para a
elaboração de uma tese de doutorado, a qual
versou, essencialmente, sobre a formação
de Tecnólogos em Processos Gerenciais
no Instituto Federal do Rio Grande do Sul.
Com o intuito de estimular reflexões, este
ensaio-teórico contemplou alguns aspectos
relativos à historicidade do Ensino Superior
de Administração (ESA) no Brasil bem como
algumas características acerca dos atuais
currículos que são oferecidos pelas Instituições
de Ensino Superior brasileiras. Dentre outras
considerações, concluiu-se que, junto às
novas demandas que emergem da sociedade,
surgem importantes reflexões sobre atual papel
do sistema educacional no desenvolvimento
dos futuros profissionais da Administração:
de indivíduos capazes de responder às
problemáticas que lhes são impostas, as quais
despontam de um contexto organizacional
permanentemente instável e em constante
transformação.

Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to
talk about the Higher Education of Management
in Brazil. In this sense, it is noteworthy that the
study presented here is an integral part of the
research that was developed for the preparation
of a doctoral thesis, which essentially focused
on the training of Technologists in Management
Processes at the Federal Institute of Rio Grande
do Sul. In order to stimulate reflections, this
theoretical essay contemplated some aspects
related to the historicity of the Higher Education
Management (HEM) in Brazil as well as some
characteristics about the current syllabus that
are offered by the Brazilian Higher Education
Institutions. Among other considerations, it
was concluded that, along with the new demands that emerge from society, there are
important reflections on the current role of the educational system in the development
of future management professionals: individuals capable of responding to the problems
imposed on them, which emerge a permanently unstable and constantly changing
organizational context.
