O ENSINO DE REGÊNCIA EM UM CURSO DE LICENCIATURA EM MÚSICA POPULAR: PENSANDO OS DISCURSOS
Este trabalho se volta à discussão do currículo no âmbito do Ensino Superior, mais especificamente sobre o ensino de Regência no contexto da Licenciatura em Música Popular do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, do Campus Belo Jardim (IFPE – Campus Belo Jardim), no estado de Pernambuco, buscando entender a presença do discurso sobre música popular no Projeto Pedagógico de Curso (PPC) e nos planos de ensino do componente curricular Regência. A pesquisa, de cunho qualitativo e caráter exploratório, mostra, a partir do corpus analisado, que há um distanciamento entre os discursos presentes nos planos de ensino dos componentes curriculares e o próprio discurso do PPC, mostrando uma presença reduzida da música popular nesta área.

Abstract:
This paper focuses on the discussion of curriculum in the context of Higher Education, more specifically on the teaching of Conducting in the context of the Popular Music Undergraduate Course of the Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia, Belo Jardim Campus (IFPE - Belo Jardim Campus), in the state of Pernambuco, seeking to understand the presence of discourse on popular music in the Pedagogical Project of Course (PPC) and in the teaching plans of the curricular component Conducting. The research, qualitative and exploratory in nature, shows, from the analyzed corpus, that there is a gap between the discourses present in the teaching plans of curricular components and the discourse of the PPC itself, showing a reduced presence of popular music in this area.
