Abstract: This article is presented under the theme, "History Teaching: Afro-Brazilian Religious Culture and its Diffusion in the 9th Grade of Elementary School at the Mayara Redman Abdel Aziz Municipal School in Tefé, Amazonas." The overall objective was to understand the difficulties faced by history teachers in conveying Brazilian history content regarding the diffusion of Afro-Brazilian religious culture today. This theme is justified by its fulfillment of one of the requirements of the Epistemology of Cultural Teaching course in the Spatialization in African and Afro-Brazilian History and Culture course at IFAM. The methodology employed in this investigation was bibliographic and then informal (field) involving one (one) 9th-grade History teacher, Class A, morning shift, at the Mayara Redman Abdel Aziz Municipal School, located in the Abial neighborhood, central urban area of the municipality of Tefé, Amazonas. The results show that the challenges that impede quality learning about Afro-Brazilian religious culture are diverse, ranging from a lack of teaching materials for research to a larger collection of books that can also be used in research.
