O ENSINO DA LÍNGUA PORTUGUESA: UMA VIA DE INSERÇÃO SOCIAL PARA OS IMIGRANTES HISPANO HABLANTE EM RORAIMA
Atualmente vem se efetivando expressivo acréscimo populacional no Estado de Roraima. Mais especificamente, de estrangeiros venezuelanos buscando fixar residência em virtude da crise socioeconômica instaurada naquele país. Frente a essa realidade, observou-se que esses imigrantes vem com muita disposição para o trabalho contudo, ao chegar no Brasil, esbarram com a falta de domínio da Língua Portuguesa. Isto posto, o Instituto Federal de Roraima ofertou o Curso Básico de Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros, com o objetivo de promover a integração desse imigrante ao contexto sociolinguístico brasileiro. A proposta metodológica foi pautada no Enfoque Comunicativo, na Pesquisa Participante e na Abordagem Qualitativa. A ação se justificou pela necessidade de contribuir para que esses imigrantes estejam aptos para vivenciar situações comunicativas mais eficientes. O Projeto de Extensão “O ensino de Língua Portuguesa para Estrangeiros” teve sua execução desenvolvida em uma carga horária total de cem (100) horas aulas, com atividades realizadas a partir de unidades didáticas diversificadas. Frente a isto, considera-se que muitos foram os avanços apresentados e que estes se deram a partir do tipo de atividades propostas. Também observou-se avanços nas as tentativas de falas em português. Diante da situação inesperada no Estado de Roraima, o IFRR entendendo seu papel frente a sociedade se coloca enquanto mediador na busca de condições igualitárias de oportunidades educacionais e profissionais que podem minimizar a desigualdade social.

Abstract:
There has been an expressive increase in population in the State of Roraima. More specifically, of Venezuelan foreigners seeking to establish residence due to the socioeconomic crisis established in that country. Facing this reality, it was observed that these immigrants come with a lot of willingness to work, however, when they arrive in Brazil, they come up against the lack of command of the Portuguese language. That said, the Federal Institute of Roraima offered the Basic Course of Portuguese Language for Foreigners, with the aim of promoting the integration of this immigrant into the Brazilian sociolinguistic context. The methodological proposal was based on the Communicative Approach, the Participant Research and the Qualitative Approach. The action was justified by the need to contribute to these immigrants being able to experience more efficient communicative situations. The Extension Project “Portuguese Language Teaching for Foreigners” had its execution developed in a total workload of one hundred (100) hours lessons, with activities carried out from diversified didactic units. Against this, it is considered that many were the advances presented and that these were given from the type of activities proposed. There were also advances in attempts to speak in Portuguese. In view of the unexpected situation in the State of Roraima, the IFRR, understanding its role vis-a-vis society, places itself as a mediator in the search for equal conditions of educational and professional opportunities that can minimize social inequality.
