O ENSINO DA LEITURA E DA PRODUÇÃO TEXTUAL NO CAMPUS ARAPIRACA DO INSTITUTO FEDERAL DE ALAGOAS: PESQUISA E INTERVENÇÃO
O artigo discute a questão da leitura e da produção textual no ensino técnico através do relato de experiência em um projeto de pesquisa aplicado no Campus Arapiraca do Instituto Federal de Alagoas. O projeto, executado entre 2013 e 2014, teve como objetivo identificar os problemas no ensino da leitura e utilizá-la como recurso para um melhor desempenho acadêmico dos estudantes do ensino médio integrado. Para isso, realizou entrevistas, análises de textos e avaliações aplicadas a alunos do ensino médio integrado; elaborou e aplicou atividades de leitura e escrita com os participantes e verificou os resultados. Após a intervenção, constatou-se que houve um melhor desempenho escolar e que os problemas diagnosticados inicialmente tiveram um decréscimo.

Abstract:
This article discusses the question of reading and production of texts in technical education through the experience with a research project conducted at the Federal Institute of Alagoas in the Campus Arapiraca. The project was carried out between 2013 and 2014and it aimed to identify the problems in the teaching of reading and its use as a resource to better academic performance of students of the integrated high school. To do this, it conducted interviews, text analysis and evaluation applied to the integrated high school students; it also develop and pursued reading and writing activities with participants and verified the results. After the intervention, it was found that there was a better school performance and that there was also a decrease in the problems initially diagnosed.
