O ENSINO DA DISCIPLINA ESTUDOS AMAZÔNICOS NAS ESCOLAS DE SANTARÉM-PARÁ: UM ESTUDO DE CASO SOBRE A TEMÁTICA DA GUERRA DA CABANAGEM
Este presente trabalho tem como
objetivos analisar como ocorre o ensino de
Estudos Amazônicos e, como é abordado o
tema da Revolta-Revolução da Cabanagem
nas salas de aula das Escolas Básica de
Santarém. O texto busca ainda, tentar identificar
as dificuldades dos docentes em ministrar com
clareza e domínio de conteúdo as temáticas
amazônicas, em especial a Revolta-Revolução
da Cabanagem, por ser um tema de grande
relevância social na formação da sociedade
amazônida moderna e, na construção da
identidade do Nortista, em especial do paraense
e amazonense. A proposta metodológica
fundamentou-se na pesquisa de campo (onde
se definiu um universo de quatro escolas
da rede privada, pública municipal, pública
estadual e pública conveniada da cidade de
Santarém-PA) e; a pesquisa bibliográfica.
Apesar de sua significância histórica e cultural,
notou-se quão diminuído e lacônico é o tema da
Revolta-Revolução da Cabanagem no ensino
de Estudos Amazônicos em Santarém, seja
devido a ignorância dos professores por não
terem domínio de conteúdo e não conseguirem
relacionar com a formação sócia histórica
do amazônida; seja pela falta de clareza das
ideias dos professores ao não se fazer serem
compreendidos pelos alunos; bem como a forma
simplória e resumida em que está presente nos
livros didáticos.

Abstract:
This paper aims to analyze how
the teaching of Amazonian Studies occurs and
how the theme of the Revolt-Revolution of the
Cabanagem in the classrooms of the Basic
Schools of Santarém is approached. The text
also seeks to identify the difficulties faced by the
teachers staff in clearly and comprehensively
teaching Amazonian themes, especially the
Revolt-Cabanagem Revolution, as it is a subject
of great social relevance in the formation of
modern Amazonian society and in construction
of the identity of the Nortista, especially of the
Paraense and Amazonian. The methodological
proposal was based on the field research (where
a universe of four private, municipal public,
public state and public schools convenited of
the city of Santarém-PA was defined); and in
the bibliographic research. Despite its historical
and cultural significance, it was noted how
diminished and laconic is the theme of the
Cabanagem Revolt-Revolution in the teaching
of Amazonian Studies in Santarém, whether

due to the ignorance of the teachers for not having content mastery and not being able
to relate to the historical subjects formation of the Amazonian; or by the lack of clarity
of the ideas of the teachers when not being made understandable by the students; as
well as the simplistic and brief form in which it is present in the textbooks.
