Abstract: Introduction: Dengue is a disease transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito that has significant epidemiological importance and has four different serotypes, namely: DENV-1; DENV-2; DENV-3 and DENV-4. Over the years, the epidemiological picture of dengue in Brazil has presented a challenging scenario for public health management. This scenario leads to the need to implement Public Health Policies capable of operationalizing the fight against the disease, especially in territories where populations with greater socio-environmental vulnerability are inserted. Objective: The present study aims to present and discuss the data available in the literature regarding Public Policies in the fight against dengue. Methodology: This is a literature review study, carried out in databases (Scielo and PubMed) and on the official website of the Ministry of Health, using descriptors relating to dengue and public policies in Brazil. 5 articles and 5 technical instruments published from 2011 to 2023 were analyzed. Final considerations: The topic addressed demonstrates the importance of discussion and scientific studies regarding control and measures by public policies to reduce cases of arbovirus in the country, and Vaccination is an important milestone in preventing this disease.
