• Abstract:

  Confronting sexual violence

  against children and adolescents must pass

  through the commitment and performance of

  the state and the different spheres of society.

  In this context, the study aims to reflect on the

  confrontation of sexual violence in Brazil and

  to analyze its possibility in the school context.

  For this study, documentary research, laws

  and official documents were conducted on the

  confrontation against Violence against children

  and adolescents and a bibliographical research

  of national and international literature on the

  issue and the possibility of In the school field.

  The results point to the relevance of the school’s engagement in the fight against sexual

  violence, since after the family is the first social nucleus of coexistence of children and

  adolescents and due to the high index of this type of domestic violence. However, it

  is important to have the involvement and commitment of different sectors of society,

  public power and the state, because all action planning for the confrontation of sexual

  violence needs to be based on collective commitment, training and Teaching training

  and the pursuit of legal and scientific knowledge, so that it contributes effectively to the

  reduction of sexual violence and its impacts on the development of children and youth.
