O ECOTURISMO PELO PROJETO CORAL VIVO EM PORTO SEGURO, BAHIA: Um estudo de caso
Neste estudo que tem o Projeto
Coral Vivo como objeto de pesquisa, e tem
por objetivo geral analisar a relação entre o
ecoturismo e o produto turístico Porto Seguro, e,
objetivos específicos, descrever como o projeto
Coral Vivo atua no município de Porto Seguro-
Ba buscando a preservação dos ecossistemas
marinhos pelo ecoturismo, assim como, indicar
como a comunidade local esta inserida nesse
processo, além de demonstrar o que isso
provocou na esfera ambiental, social e turística.
De tal maneira, o universo desta pesquisa
sobre o ecoturismo é o município de Porto
Seguro-Bahia e, tem como amostra o espaço
de preservação dos ecossistemas marinhos o
Projeto Coral Vivo, inserido no distrito de Arraial
D’ Juda. A metodologia utilizada tem o método
Hipotético-dedutivo, com uma abordagem
qualitativa, sendo a pesquisa do ponto de vista
dos seus objetivos ser descritiva, bem como
possui os procedimentos técnicos a pesquisa
documental, bibliográfica, além do estudo
de caso. A investigação fez uso quanto aos
instrumentos de pesquisa o questionário com
perguntas abertas e entrevista. A pesquisa
trabalhou com a hipótese a qual foi refutada de
que o projeto Coral Vivo não consegue promover
de forma satisfatória as metas estabelecidas
de “ensino e educação ambiental” com vista
a proteção dos recifes de corais por meio do
turismo.

Abstract:
In this study that has the Coral
Living Project as a research object, the general
objectives sought are to analyze and describe
how in the municipality of Porto Seguro - Ba it
seeks the preservation of marine ecosystems
by ecotourism, and, specifically, to describe
how the Coral Vivo project operates in the city
of Porto Seguro-Ba seeking the preservation of
marine ecosystems by ecotourism, as well as
indicating how the local community is inserted
in this process, as well as demonstrating what
this has caused in the environmental, social
and tourist sphere. Thus, the universe of this
research on ecotourism is the municipality of
Porto Seguro-Bahia and has as a sample the
space for preservation of marine ecosystems,
the Coral Living Project, located in the district of
Arraial D ‘Juda. The methodology to be used has
the method of Hypothetical-deductive approach,
the study will have a qualitative approach, being the research from the point of view of
its objectives to be descriptive, as well as having the methods of technical procedures
to documentary, bibliographic research, in addition to case study. The research will
make use of the interview instruments and questionnaire with open questions. The
research works with the hypothesis to be confirmed or refuted that the Coral Vivo
project can not satisfactorily promote the established goals of “environmental education
and education” for the protection of coral reefs through tourism.
