O DISCURSO PROTESTANTE PENTECOSTAL DA BÍBLIA DA MULHER ACERCA DA CONDIÇÃO FEMININA VERSUS O DISCURSO ORAL DAS FIEIS.
O presente artigo constitui o resultado
parcial de nossa pesquisa de mestrado, a qual
encontra-se em andamento e procura analisar
as teias que compõem o discurso protestante
acerca da condição feminina presente no texto
da Bíblia da Mulher: leitura, devocional, estudo,
publicada pela Sociedade Bíblica do Brasil. Para
tanto, ancora-se nos postulados da Análise de
Discurso Crítica (ADC), cujos principais nomes
são FAIRCLOUGH (1989, 1992, 1995, 1997,
2001a, 2001b, 2003a, 2003b), GREGOLIM
(1995); MEURER (2006); RESENDE;
RAMALHO (2006); nas contribuições BUTLER
(1993); SCOTT (1990); LOURO (1999); PINTO
(2007), no que tange às questões de “gênero”.
Também dialoga com alguns conceitos de
DERRIDA (1991). O estudo em tela busca
compreender a natureza da discursivização em
torno do “feminino” presente na obra religiosa
supracitada; inventariar quais os tipos de
imagens e representações discursivas sobre
a mulher são produzidas e veiculadas na
referida Bíblia, e como tais construções verbais
colaboram parcialmente para a elaboração e
manutenção de relações opressoras de gênero
entre homens e mulheres no âmbito religioso
protestante. O estudo vale-se de metodologia
de caráter qualitaivo e consiste em análise
do texto da Bíblia da Mulher, mediante os
pressupostos teórico-metodológicos da Análise
de Discurso Crítica, bem como em entrevistas
com mulheres de diferentes denominações
pentecostais e de distintas faixas-etárias, a fim
de comparar os discursos escrito e oral acerca
da condição feminina. Embora o trabalho ainda
se encontre em processo de construção, é
possível vislumbrar a importância do discurso
protestante pentecostal presente no texto
analisado para o reforço de uma visão machista
acerca da mulher, bem como para a manutenção
de relações assimétricas entre os gêneros.

Abstract:
This article is the partial result of our master’s research, which is in
progress and seeks to analyze the webs that make up the Protestant discourse about
the female condition present in the text of the Women’s Bible: reading, devotional, study,
published by Bible Society of Brazil. To this end, it is anchored in the postulates of Critical
Discourse Analysis (ADC), whose main names are FAIRCLOUGH (1989, 1992, 1995,
1997, 2001a, 2001b, 2003a, 2003b), GREGOLIM (1995); MEURER (2006); RESEND;
RAMALHO (2006); in the contributions BUTLER (1993); SCOTT (1990); Laurel (1999);
PINTO (2007), regarding issues of “gender”. It also dialogues with some concepts of
DERRIDA (1991). The present study seeks to understand the nature of discursivization
around the “feminine” present in the aforementioned religious work; Inventory which
types of discursive images and representations about women are produced and
conveyed in the Bible, and how such verbal constructions partially contribute to the
elaboration and maintenance of oppressive gender relations between men and women
in the Protestant religious sphere. The study uses qualitative methodology and consists
of analysis of the text of the Bible of Women, through the theoretical-methodological
assumptions of Critical Discourse Analysis, as well as interviews with women of
different Pentecostal denominations and different age groups, in order to compare the
written and oral discourses about the female condition. Although the work is still under
construction, it is possible to glimpse the importance of the Pentecostal Protestant
discourse present in the analyzed text for reinforcing a macho view about women, as
well as for maintaining asymmetrical relationships between genders.
