O DISCURSO JORNALÍSTICO SOBRE O MEDO E A ORDEM NA CIDADE DO RIO DE JANEIRO
Neste artigo, analisaremos o discurso do jornal “O Globo”, entendendo que ele cristaliza estereótipos e medos a respeito da cidade do Rio de Janeiro, reforçando o que é legal e ilegal nesta cidade e aqueles comportamentos e fatos que devem ser criticados, enquanto tantos outros são silenciados. Para isso, analisaremos um período do primeiro governo do prefeito Eduardo Paes, que assumiu a prefeitura em 2009, portanto fase pré-megaeventos em que acreditamos haver o projeto do Rio como cidade-empresa, que precisa dar certo. Para isso, é necessário higienizar a “Cidade Maravilhosa”.

Abstract:
In this article, we will analyze the speech of the newspaper “O Globo”, understanding that it crystallizes stereotypes and fears about the city of Rio de Janeiro, reinforcing what is legal and illegal in this city and those behaviors and facts that must be criticized, while so many others are criticized silenced. For that, we will analyze a period of the first government of Mayor Eduardo Paes, who took over the city hall in 2009, therefore the pre-mega-events phase in which we believe that the Rio project is a city-company, which needs to be successful. For this, it is necessary to clean the “Cidade Maravilhosa”.
