O DIÁLOGO ENTRE A ARTE E O GEOPROCESSAMENTO: IMPACTOS CULTURAIS E SOCIAIS NO COTIDIANO SANTA-MARIENSE
Na atualidade, é perceptível que a tecnologia desempenha uma função especial: facilita a interação e aproximação entre as pessoas. A presente proposta interdisciplinar une os conhecimentos dos cursos Técnico e Tecnólogo em Geoprocessamento e o Ensino Médio do Colégio Politécnico da Universidade Federal de Santa Maria (UFSM), tendo como finalidade democratizar o acesso à arte e às esculturas de Santa Maria/RS para toda a população utilizando como principal instrumento a tecnologia.O método utilizado foi de cunho quantiqualitativo, com saídas a campo para localizar, mapear e identificar as esculturas de alguns dos principais bairros da cidade com o uso do GPS do celular e o auxílio de Geotecnologias, gerando as coordenadas geográficas de cada escultura. Como resultado foi elaborado um mapa digital com imagens e descrições das esculturas a partir dos locais em que se encontram, identificando possíveis relações das esculturas com a região urbana. Essas informações foram disponibilizadas por meio de um aplicativo próprio, juntamente com o apoio das redes midiáticas para que a população se aproprie do tema. Objetivou-se também estender o projeto para o âmbito social, cultural e educacional, construindo relações diretas e duradouras entre o indivíduo, a sociedade e o meio. Além das diversas funções habilitadas no aplicativo, há propostas de revitalização de áreas verdes já existentes, a construção de mais ambientes culturais como esculturas e parques em locais periféricos, e estimular o investimento pelo poder público e privado em manutenção e melhorias nas já existentes. Desse modo, foi possível ampliar o acesso aos diferentes tipos de arte e cultura e dar um maior destaque às obras expostas, transformando as diferentes tecnologias em formas de aproximação.

Abstract:
Nowadays, it is noticeable that technology has a special role: it makes the interaction and approximation between people easier. This interdisciplinary proposal unites the knowledge of the Technological and Technologist courses in Geoprocessing and the High School of the Colégio Politécnico School of the Federal University of Santa Maria, with the purpose of democratizing the access to the art and sculptures of Santa Maria/RS for the population by using technology as the main instrument. A quantitative and qualitative approach was used. The methodology involved field trips to locate, map and identify the sculptures of some of the most known parts of the city using the GPS of the cell phone and the aid of Geotechnologies, generating the geographic coordinates of each sculpture. As a result, a digital map was obtained with images and descriptions of the sculptures according to the places where they are found, identifying possible relations between the sculptures and the urban region. This information was made available through an application created by the students with the support of social media so that the population can learn more about the theme. Another goal is to extend the project to the social, cultural and educational scope, building direct and lasting relations between the individual, the society and the environment. In addition to the various functions enabled in the application, there are proposals to revitalize existing green areas, to build more cultural environments such as sculptures and parks in peripheral neighborhoods, and to stimulate investment by public and private authorities in maintenance and improvements in existing ones. That way, it is possible to expand access to different types of art and culture and give greater visibility to the works exhibited, transforming the different technologies into forms of approximation.
