O DESEMPENHO PROFISSIONAL DO EDUCADOR E SUA INFLUÊNCIA SOBRE O APRENDIZADO DOS CONTEÚDOS DE BIOLOGIA
Este estudo procura diagnosticar como o desempenho profissional do docente influencia no aprendizado dos conteúdos do componente curricular Biologia. Para isso, foi aplicado um questionário com indagações objetivas e discursivas a 112 estudantes da 3ª série do Ensino Médio do Instituto Federal Norte de Minas Gerais – Campus Januária em setembro de 2011. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é analisar como, no desempenho de suas atividades, o educador pode influenciar na assimilação dos conteúdos de Biologia e na afinidade dos estudantes com a disciplina em questão. Como objetivos específicos, pretende-se apontar e descrever quais características presentes no educador facilitam os processos de aprendizagem. Foi detectada expressiva influência do docente sobre o interesse, aprendizado e afinidade dos discentes com a Biologia. As características mais recorrentes no educador apontadas na pesquisa que interferem no aprendizado foram a metodologia de ensino adotada, o relacionamento estabelecido entre docente e discentes e o conhecimento técnico-científico do educador.

Abstract:
This study sought to diagnose the professional teaching influence performance of educators on learning biology. To achieve this objective, we gave a questionnaire with objective and discursive questions to 112 12th grade high school students at the “Instituto Federal Norte de Minas” at the Januária Campus. The survey's main objective was to analyze, in performance activities, how the teacher influences the assimilation of the content of this discipline by students and to evaluate their affinity to Biology. As objectives, our specific aim was to point out and describe what features presented by the teacher facilitates learning processes in students. Significant influence of teachers on the interest, learning and affinity of students toward the discipline was observed. The most recurrent features performed by teachers which affect learning potential in learning were the teaching methodology adopted by teachers, the relationship established between the teacher and student and the technical and scientific knowledge.
