O CURSO DE PRÉ-CÁLCULO E SUAS CONTRIBUIÇÕES PARA O ENSINO DE MATEMÁTICA NO ENSINO SUPERIOR
Este trabalho apresenta os
resultados obtidos com a execução de um
curso de extensão de Pré-Cálculo, no âmbito da
UEMG Divinópolis, com o objetivo de fornecer
conhecimentos matemáticos fundamentais para
que os alunos ingressantes no Ensino Superior
possam cursar as disciplinas obrigatórias de
Matemática. Apresentamos aqui as principais
contribuições do curso para a vida acadêmica
dos alunos participantes e a importância do
fomento de ações educacionais que sejam
capazes de minimizar os desníveis existentes
entre a Matemática da Educação Básica e do
Ensino Superior.

Abstract:
This paper presents the results
obtained with the execution of a Pre-Calculus
extension course, within the scope of the UEMG
Divinópolis, with the objective of providing
fundamental mathematical knowledge so that
students entering Higher Education can attend
the compulsory Mathematics subjects. We
present here the main contributions of the course
to the academic life of the participating students
and the importance of fomenting educational
actions that are able to minimize the existing
differences between the Mathematics of Basic
Education and Higher Education.
