O CUIDADO NEONATAL EM PROJETO DE EXTENSÃO: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
OBJETIVOS: Implementar ações de enfermagem para a mulher com filho recém-nascido que vai à consulta de puericultura na Estratégia de Saúde da Família com vistas a fortalecer o apego mãe-filho-família, e aumento da competência da mulher para cuidado do filho no domicílio. METODOLOGIA: Relato de experiência sobre o Projeto de Extensão “Nasceu e agora? Educação em saúde para o cuidado materno com o bebê” do curso de graduação em Enfermagem e Obstetrícia da Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro- Campus Macaé. Atividades baseadas na comunicação dialógica e nas experiências dos participantes. São propostas estratégias como rodas de conversa e discussões temáticas, oficinas para reflexão coletiva, produção de materiais ilustrativos e recursos didáticos. RESULTADOS: Todos os bebês precisam de cuidados básicos para ajudar a assegurar sua sobrevivência e bem-estar. Baseado nisto as atividades são divididas de forma rotineira e com temas que incluem amamentação exclusiva, imunização, cuidados higiênicos, relacionamento afetivo com a mãe, ações para prevenção de infecções. CONCLUSÃO: O projeto é uma oportunidade de vivenciar as necessidades e dificuldades maternas. São notáveis que as ações de educação em saúde e as orientações realizadas com as mães são indispensáveis para o melhor cuidado com o recém-nascido. A atuação do projeto estabelece um vínculo maior entre o sistema de saúde e as mães colaborando assim com o pleno crescimento e desenvolvimento infantil.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVES: To implement nursing actions for women with newborn children who attend childcare consultations in the Family Health Strategy to strengthen mother-child-family attachment, and increase women's competence to care for their children at home. METHODOLOGY: Experience Report on the Extension Project “Born and Now? Health education for maternal care with the baby ”of the undergraduate Nursing and Obstetrics course at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro- Campus Macaé. Activities based on dialogic communication and participants' experiences. Strategies such as conversation circles and thematic discussions, workshops for collective reflection, production of illustrative materials and didactic resources are proposed. RESULTS: All babies need basic care to help ensure their survival and well-being. Based on this, the activities are routinely divided into themes that include exclusive breastfeeding, immunization, hygienic care, affective relationship with the mother, actions to prevent infections. CONCLUSION: The project is an opportunity to experience maternal needs and difficulties. It is noteworthy that health education actions and guidance given to mothers are indispensable for better care of the newborn. The project's action establishes a greater bond between the health system and the mothers, thus contributing to the full growth and development of children.
