O COTIDIANO DE TRABALHO DAS MARISQUEIRAS DA PRAIA DE MANGUE SECO, IGARASSU – PE.
Este artigo analisa o cotidiano de trabalho das pescadoras de marisco da praia de Mangue Seco, município de Igarassu, Pernambuco. A mariscagem é uma pesca artesanal praticada prevalentemente por mulheres. Esta atividade está intimamente relacionada com o meio ambiente, que repercute na construção da identidade individual e social. As questões norteadoras da pesquisa abarcam o universo do trabalho e suas implicações concretas na constituição do modo de vida e da reprodução social das pescadoras de marisco. Trata-se de uma pesquisa etnográfica, realizada por meio da observação participante, de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com descrição das atividades desenvolvidas no dia a dia das marisqueiras. Pode-se constatar que a riqueza dos recursos pesqueiros na região e o grande excedente produzido pelas pescadoras não as tiraram de uma situação de vulnerabilidade social. Foram identificados alguns fatores que contribuem para manutenção desta contradição.

Abstract:
This article analysis of the daily work of the women fishermen of shellfish of Mangue Seco beach, in the municipality of Igarassu, State of Pernambuco, Brazil. The fishing of shellfish is a traditional activity practiced predominantly by women. This activity is closely related to the environment, which has repercussions on the construction of a very peculiar individual and social identity. The guiding questions of the research cover the universe of work and its concrete implications in the constitution of the way of life and the social reproduction of the seafood fishermen. Is an ethnographic study, with participant observation and description of the activities carried out in the daily routine of fishermen seafood. It can be verified that the richness of the fishery resources in the region and the great surplus produced by the fishermen did not remove them from a situation of social vulnerability. Some factors have been identified that contribute to the maintenance of this contradiction.
