O CORPO E A CIDADE À LUZ DOS OLHARES E NARRATIVAS DOS JOVENS UNIVERSITÁRIOS
Este trabalho objetiva investigar como se dá a relação entre o corpo e a cidade nas experiências dos jovens universitários e analisar como o transitar pelos espaços urbanos aciona emoções que os ressignificam em diferentes contextos. O artigo apresenta um pequeno extrato do projeto de pesquisa “Eu sou muitos: compreendendo imagens e processos de individuação de jovens estudantes”. A busca por maior compreensão da condição juvenil universitária mobilizou a reflexão sobre a relação intensa entre estes corpos e as cidades em que vivem, pano de fundo de um processo de individuação e conquista da autonomia em territórios urbanos. Como procedimento metodológico optamos por categorizar, dentro de um banco de dados de mais de 5000 fotos, 574 imagens vinculadas aos respectivos textos dos próprios estudantes, que propiciassem uma análise mais detalhada de como a relação corpo-cidade é percebida pelos jovens da pesquisa. Buscamos subsídios teóricos que nos ajudam a pensar tal relação como política e de influências recíprocas, onde o corpo é produtor de discursos e alicerce de emoções. Mergulhar no cotidiano destas juventudes possibilitou o aprofundamento teórico sobre a percepção da intensa relação que seus corpos estabelecem com a cidade. Uma cidade que desejamos mais humana e menos material. Uma cidade das pessoas, para as pessoas e pelas pessoas. Os relatos dos jovens sobre seus cotidianos apresentam práticas humanas experenciadas e experimentadas nos complexos sociais urbanos ao qual chamamos de cidade, ou melhor, “cidade-corpo”.

Abstract:
This work aims to investigate how the relationship between the body and the city occurs in the experiences of young university students and to analyze how the transit through urban spaces triggers emotions that resignify them in different contexts. The article presents a short extract from the research project “I am many: understanding images and processes of individuation of young students”. The search for a better understanding of the university youth condition mobilized reflection on the intense relationship between these bodies and the cities in which they live, the background of a process of individuation and the achievement of autonomy in urban territories. As a methodological procedure, we chose to categorize, within a database of more than 5000 photos, 574 images linked to the respective texts of the students themselves, which would provide a more detailed analysis of how the body-city relationship is perceived by the youngsters in the research. We seek theoretical subsidies that help us to think of this relationship as political and of reciprocal influences, where the body is a producer of speeches and a foundation of emotions. Diving into the daily lives of these youths enabled the theoretical deepening on the perception of the intense relationship that their bodies establish with the city. A city that we want more human and less material. A city of the people, for the people and for the people. The reports of young people about their daily lives present human practices experienced and experienced in the urban social complexes that we call the city, or better, “city-body”.
