de pesquisa para a Dissertação de Mestrado
em Educação pela Universidade Federal de
Mato Grosso, objetivando compreender o
funcionamento da Câmara de Acompanhamento
e Controle Social do Fundo de Manutenção
e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica e de
Valorização dos Profissionais da Educação
(FUNDEB), do município de Alta Floresta
- MT, no ano de 2014. Os instrumentos de
coleta de dados adotados foram: entrevistas,
questionários, observação e análise
documental. Os resultados evidenciam, no
município de Alta Floresta, muitos desafios
para os Conselheiros da Câmara do FUNDEB,
no que tange ao acompanhamento e controle
social dos recursos aplicados na rede pública
municipal

Abstract:
This paper presents research results for the Master’s Dissertation in
Education by the Federal University of Mato
Grosso, aiming to understand the functioning of
the Monitoring and Social Control Chamber of
the Fund for Maintenance and Development of
Basic Education and Valorization of Education
Professionals (FUNDEB), from the municipality
of Alta Floresta - MT, in the year 2014. The
instruments of data collection adopted were:
interviews, questionnaires, observation and
documentary analysis. The results show, in the
municipality of Alta Floresta, many challenges
for the Board members of FUNDEB, regarding
the monitoring and social control of resources
applied in the municipal public network.
