O CONTO PERDIDO EM VASTAS EMOÇÕES E PENSAMENTOS IMPERFEITOS, DE RUBEM FONSECA
O presente artigo pretende discute a existência de um conto dentro do Romance Vastas Emoções e Pensamentos Imperfeitos, de Rubem Fonseca, publicado em 1988. O recorte em análise, que se apresenta inclusive destacado do restante do texto na obra, possui as características que Cortázar atribui aos contos, bem como às características dadas pelo autor à linha tênue que separa romances e contos. Destarte alegações que pudessem desqualificar o recorte como conto e incluí-lo como simples continuação do romance, este estudo demostrou de que forma ocorre o singelo, mas nítido, recorte que há no antes e depois do aludido artigo, além da tensão e intensidade que Cortázar atribui aos contos. Diante do exposto, entende-se que o referido conto apresenta uma forte crítica social na qual o leitor se coloca como cúmplice e vítima de seu próprio julgamento.

Abstract:
This article intends to discuss the existence of a short story within Rubem Fonseca's Novel Vastas Emotions and Imperfect Thoughts, published in 1988. The cut under analysis, which is even highlighted in the work, has the characteristics that Cortázar attributes to short stories. as to the characteristics given by the author to the fine line that separates novels and short stories. Thus, allegations that could disqualify the cut as a short story and include it as a simple continuation of the novel, this study showed how the simple but clear cut occurs in the before and after the mentioned article, besides the verification of the intensity items and tension presented by Cortázar. Given the above, it is understood that this story presents a strong social criticism in which the reader puts himself as an accomplice and victim of his own judgment
