O COMPROMISSO ÉTICO DO ENFERMEIRO NOS DIFERENTES CONTEXTOS DE CUIDADO
Trata-se de um estudo reflexivo sobre o compromisso ético do enfermeiro nos diferentes contextos de atuação no cuidado. Por se tratar de um estudo de revisão narrativa, a metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa bibliográfica. A boa prática de Enfermagem está ancorada nos principais parâmetros ético-legais que fundamentam e norteiam o processo de cuidar em enfermagem, desde a atenção básica até o nível de maior complexidade em relação à saúde da pessoa/família/coletividade em consonância com os princípios da Bioética, o atual Código de Ética dos Profissionais de Enfermagem e as diretrizes do Sistema Único de Saúde vigente no país. Pautado nesses postulados, o enfermeiro exerce suas atividades com competência para a promoção da saúde do ser humano na sua integralidade, de acordo com os princípios da ética e da bioética, e participa como integrante da equipe de enfermagem e de saúde, na defesa das Políticas Públicas que garantam os direitos à saúde da população. O estudo também tem a pretensão de instigar os enfermeiros quanto à necessidade de refletir sobre dilemas éticos que o profissional enfrenta no processo de cuidar, notadamente no que se refere à tomada de decisão ética diante de situações difíceis decorrentes dos avanços da ciência e da tecnologia no campo da enfermagem e da saúde, que torna cada vez mais o cuidado de enfermagem complexo, exigindo desse profissional maior competência técnica, cientifica, humana e ética.

Abstract:
This is a reflective study on the ethical commitment of nurses in the different contexts of care. Since this is a narrative review study, the methodology used was bibliographic research. Good Nursing practice is anchored in the main ethical-legal parameters that underlie and guide the nursing care process, from basic care to the level of greatest complexity in relation to the health of the person/family/collectivity in accordance with the principles of Bioethics, the current Code of Ethics for Nursing Professionals, and the guidelines of the Unified Health System in effect in the country. Based on these postulates, the nurse exercises his/her activities with competence to promote the health of the human being in its entirety, according to the principles of ethics and bioethics, and participates as a member of the nursing and healthcare team, in the defense of public policies that guarantee the rights to health of the population. The study also has the intention of instigating nurses as to the need to reflect on ethical dilemmas that the professional faces in the process of care, especially regarding ethical decision-making when facing difficult situations arising from advances in science and technology in the field of nursing and health, which make nursing care increasingly complex, demanding from this professional greater technical, scientific, human, and ethical competence.
