O COMPORTAMENTO E A PARTICIPAÇÃO DAS MULHERES NA COMUNIDADE EM CORINTO (1COR 11 E 14)
O presente capítulo aborda a questão da participação das mulheres no culto e a ordem nas assembleias. Tem como objetivos: analisar e confrontar os textos de 1Cor 11.2-16 e 14.33b-36; buscar os motivos da instrução de Paulo em 1Cor 14.33b-36; relacionar os contrastes entre 1Cor 11 com 1Cor 14 e atualizar as perícopes na vida eclesial. Foram três níveis para a compreensão do tema: histórico, literário e teológico. A ausência de Paulo da comunidade fez com que eclodissem dúvidas em relação ao uso do véu ou não no culto, a participação das mulheres na oração e na profecia perderia o sentido sem o véu. Pois, o véu era um sinal de autoridade tanto no culto como na sociedade. Podemos identificar o contraste das duas perícopes de 1Cor 11 e 14 no sentido positivo pela presença destas na comunidade. Mas, de modo negativo na segunda perícope por serem restringidas a ficarem quietas no culto. O pedido para que ficassem caladas era para a boa ordem na assembleia. Notamos nas diversas igrejas um aumento das mulheres e da participação ativa dessas. Do mesmo modo que mulheres possuem voz e vez, há muitas que são “oprimidas” e caladas pela leitura limitada dos textos quais são peculiares a uma determinada época, de contexto cultural e social diferente do nosso.

Abstract:
The present chapter addresses the question of women's participation in worship and order in assemblies. Its objectives are: to analyze and to compare the texts 1 Cor 11.2-16 and 14.33b-36; to seek the reasons for Paul's instruction in 1 Cor 14.33b-36; to relate the contrasts between 1 Cor 11 and 1 Cor 14 and to update the pericopes in church life. They were three levels to understanding the theme: historical, literary, and theological. Paul's absence in community caused doubts to arise regarding whether or not to wear the veil in worship, women's participation in prayer and prophecy would lose meaning without the veil. For, the veil was a sign of authority both in worship and in society. We can identify the contrast of two pericopes of 1 Cor 11 and 14 in a positive sense by their presence in the community. But, in a negative way in the second verse because they are restricted to be quiet in worship. The request for them to be quiet was for the good order of the assembly. We have noted an increase of women and their active participation in the diverse churches. In the same way that women have a voice, there are many who are "oppressed" and silenced by the limited reading of texts that are peculiar to a determined time, of a cultural and social context different from ours.
