O CLIMATÉRIO NA PERSPECTIVA DA USUÁRIA DO AMBULATÓRIO DE GINECOLOGICA DE UM HOSPITAL UNIVERSITÁRIO.
O envelhecimento populacional é
uma realidade demográfica brasileira tendo
como consequência o aumento progressivo
das mulheres que vivenciam o climatério fato
este que justifica a importância da pesquisa
relacionada a esta temática. Este estudo
se propôs a compreender o significado do
climatério na perspectiva das mulheres na faixa
etária de 45 a 60 anos de idade, assistidas
no ambulatório de climatério do setor de
ginecologia e obstetrícia do Hospital de Clínicas
da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (HCUFU). Para tanto, foi utilizada a pesquisa
qualitativa com enfoque na Fenomenologia, por
meio de entrevista não estruturada, realizada
com 15 mulheres atendidas no ambulatório.
Desta forma este estudo se norteou com a
interrogação: O que significa o climatério para
você? A análise das entrevistas revelou que a
maioria das mulheres desconhece o climatério,
porém souberam discursar quando o mesmo
foi associado à menopausa. Na perspectiva
das mulheres participantes deste trabalho o
climatério significa: aparecimento de sinais e
sintomas, Que não houve problemas; O mesmo
que menopausa; Parar de menstruar e fase
de mudança na vida que necessita atenção
e cuidado. Nesta pesquisa fica claro que os
sintomas que se destacaram foram as ondas
de calor e a irritabilidade. Portanto é importante
o conhecimento da mulher quanto ao climatério
para a promoção do autocuidado e a prevenção
de agravos por meio de uma assistência
adequada.

Abstract:
The population ageing is a
Brazilian demographic reality, having therefore
the progressive increase of women that
experience the climacteric, fact that justifies
the importance of the research related to
that subject. The purpose of this paper is to
understand the significance of the climacteric
from the perspective of women in the 45-60 age
group, assisted in the climacteric ambulatory
of the gynecology and obstetrics sector from
the Clinic Hospital of the Federal University
of Uberlândia (HC-UFU).In order to do it, the
qualitative research focused on Phenomenology, by means of unstructured interviews,
performed with women attended at the ambulatory. Thus, this paper was guided by
the question: What climacteric means to you? The analysis of the interviews revealed
that most women does not know the climacteric, however they were able to talk about
it when associated with menopause. From the perspective of the participants of this
study, the climacteric means: the appearance of signals and symptoms that did not
cause any problem; the same as menopause; stop menstruating and phase of change
in life that needs attention and care. In this research, it was possible to perceive that
the symptoms that stood out were the heat waves and the irritability. Therefore, it is
important for women to know about the climacteric in order to promote the self-care
and the harm prevention through appropriate assistance.
