O CINEMA E UMA NOVA REPRESENTAÇÃO DA MULHER
Nesta pesquisa fez-se uma análise do filme “Tudo sobre minha mãe” (1999), do diretor Pedro Almodóvar e também do contexto cultural em que a ação dramática ocorre. Discutiu-se a questão da representação feminina sob uma perspectiva que se desprende da produção Star System, que sofre grande influência do patriarcado e do pensamento machista, trazendo a possibilidade de uma nova forma de perceber o que é ser mulher através do cinema. Unindo as concepções culturais de gênero e sua influencia no meio cinematográfico, foi possível compreender como as representações do cinema articulam novas formas de subjetivação. Consequentemente, foi possível notar a importância de uma representação feminina empoderadora e desprendida de estereótipos, podendo beneficiar a constituição de uma nova maneira de pensar e ver as mulheres. Também é importante ressaltar que o cinema, se feito para provocar pensamentos e não apenas para difundir mais símbolos e significados já conhecidos pode ser responsável em ajudar a criação de outras construções culturais e do psiquismo acerca das perspectivas e possibilidades do feminino, quebrando o processo de dominação da visão machista sobre a mulher e diminuindo o efeito frustrante da impossibilidade de se alcançar padrões imaginários irreais que acabam por prejudicar a autoimagem feminina e a transformar as mulheres em meros produtos a serem consumíveis.

Abstract:
This article intends to do an analyses of the movie “All about my mother” (1999), from the director Pedro Almodóvar and also the cultural context that the movie is inserted, to discuss the issue of female representation from a perspective that emerges from Star System production, which suffers great influence of patriarchy and male chauvinist thinking, bringing the possibility of a new way to perceive what it is to be a woman through the cinema. By uniting the cultural conceptions of gender and their influence in the cinematographic field it was possible to understand how the representations of the cinema resonate in human beings and their psychism. Consequently, it was possible to note the importance of a empowering feminine representation and detached from stereotypes, which could benefit the formatting of a new way of thinking and seeing women. It is also important to emphasize that cinema, if done to provoke thoughts and not only to spread more symbols and meanings, can be responsible for helping the creation of other cultural constructions and psychism about the perspectives and possibilities of the feminine, breaking the domination process of the male view over women and diminishing the impossibility to achieve unrealistic imaginary patterns frustrating effect that end up undermining female self-image and turning women into mere commodities to be consumable.
