O CELULAR COMO RECURSO DIDÁTICO NO ENSINO DA GEOGRAFIA: UMA PERCEPÇÃO DE DOCENTES DO ENSINO MÉDIO EM GRAJAÚ-MA
A tecnologia sempre esteve na vida do homem, em cada tempo a seu modo. É observável a forte presença das Tecnologias da Informação e comunicação (TIC) em diversos setores sociais, contudo, observa-se pouca exploração no âmbito educacional. Assim, o presente trabalho, amplamente tem como finalidade, analisar o celular como recurso auxiliador para o professor de Geografia no processo de ensino-aprendizagem. Especificamente, visa verificar a visão de professores sobre a utilização do aparelho no ensino da referida ciência. Metodologicamente é produto de pesquisa bibliográfica e documental sobre “as TIC e o ensino-aprendizagem de Geografia”, e de pesquisa de campo, de cunho quali-quantitativo. Assim, foi possível constatar como é vista a utilização do celular, mais especificamente do smartphone no processo ensino-aprendizagem da Geografia. Os resultados mostraram que há o reconhecimento dos professores de que o aparelho oferece diversas possibilidades de uso no setor educacional, sobretudo na Geografia, através do Google, Google Maps, Google Earth, You Tube filmadora e outros. Constatou-se também que apesar do reconhecimento, o aparelho é pouco utilizado nesse ambiente.

Abstract:
The technology has always been in the life of man, each time in its own way. It is possible to observe the strong presence of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in several social sectors, however, there is little exploitation in the educational field. Thus, the present work, broadly aims to analyze the cell phone as an auxiliary resource for the geography teacher in the teaching-learning process. Specifically, it aims to verify the view of teachers about the use of the device in the teaching of that science. Methodologically, it is the product of bibliographic and documentary research on “ICT and the teaching and learning of Geography”, and of field research, of a qualitative and quantitative nature. Thus, it was possible to see how the use of cell phones is seen, more specifically the smartphone in the teaching-learning process of Geography. The results showed that there is a recognition by teachers that the device offers several possibilities of use in the educational sector, especially in Geography, through Google, Google Maps, Google Earth, You Tube camcorder and others. It was also found that despite the recognition, the device is little used in this environment.
