O CANTO LÍRICO NA TERCEIRA IDADE: UMA ABORDAGEM COM EFEITOS TERAPÊUTICOS
Este artigo discute o processo de aprendizagem do canto lírico e seus efeitos terapêuticos, através do estudo de caso de uma aluna de 79 anos. Por meio de entrevista para levantamento de dados sobre a identidade sonoro-musical da aluna, foram elaborados mecanismos facilitadores de aprendizado a fim de amenizar as dificuldades provenientes da idade. Foram utilizadas músicas eruditas e populares do final do século XIX e início do século XX, com ênfase nas Marchinhas de carnaval e nos Samba-Canção, que eram vocalmente executados aos moldes do canto lírico. Os resultados obtidos foram confirmados por meio de avaliação computadorizada da análise acústica do canto. A aluna também realizou uma gravação feita por Sérgio Chiavazolli.

Keywords: This article discusses the learning process of lyric singing and its therapeutic effects through the case study of a 79-year-old student. Interview were used to collect data about the student's sound-musical identity. Learning facilitating mechanisms were elaborated in order to alleviate the difficulties arising from the age. Classical and popular songs of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries were used, with emphasis on Carnival Marchinhas and Samba-Song, which were performed vocally along the lines of lyrical singing. The results obtained were confirmed by computerized evaluation of the acoustic analysis of singing. The student also made a recorded performance with the collaboration of Sérgio Chiavazolli.
