Abstract: This article presents the experience of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV) during the transition to remote classes using the videoconferencing platform, due to the suspension of in- person activities in March 2020. FGV faced the challenge of quickly adapting all undergraduate, master's, and doctoral classes to the online synchronous format. The article describes the planning and training of teachers, the implementation of videoconferencing, the needs that arose throughout the process, and the solutions adopted by the Center for Educational Technologies (CTE) in partnership with videoconferencing and other areas of FGV. The achieved results demonstrate the effectiveness of the videoconferencing platform in the continuity of classes, with over 186,000 remote classes conducted in just one month of use. The article also highlights the importance of the partnership with videoconferencing and FGV's innovation plan for the future, aiming at new formats and educational tools.
