O BRINQUEDO TERAPÊUTICO COMO ALIADO NA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM
O direito de brincar deve ser preservado mesmo quando a criança está hospitalizada. Objetivo: descrever os efeitos da utilização do Brinquedo Terapêutico para crianças submetidas a punção venosa em unidade de internação pediátrica e identificar o conhecimento da equipe de enfermagem sobre o uso deste instrumento. Método: trata-se de uma pesquisa descritiva exploratória de abordagem qualitativa, que foi realizada em unidades de internação pediátrica em dois hospitais do município de Guarapuava, PR. Resultados: diante da análise dos dados surgiram duas categorias temáticas: - A atuação do profissional de enfermagem junto ao Brinquedo Terapêutico abordando o conhecimento dos mesmos sobre o assunto, mostrando que o instrumento é desconhecido pela equipe, e; - O Brinquedo Terapêutico como aliado na assistência à criança onde apresenta a intervenção com duas crianças internadas na pediatria dos hospitais participantes do estudo e a percepção dos profissionais quanto aos efeitos da internação sobre a criança e o reconhecimento da importância do brinquedo/brinquedo terapêutico no período de internação dos pequenos. Conclusão: o estudo possibilitou compreender que o Brinquedo Terapêutico, desde o momento que lhe é oferecido para a criança estabelece uma interação e relação de confiança entre ela e a equipe. Embora os profissionais reconheçam a importância do Brinquedo Terapêutico, percebe-se a necessidade de preparar os enfermeiros desde sua formação até o desenvolvimento de sua prática para que este seja usado por todos que trabalham com criança

Abstract:
The right to play must be preserved even when the child is hospitalized. Objective: to describe the effects of using the Therapeutic Toy for children undergoing venipuncture in a pediatric inpatient unit and to identify the knowledge of the nursing team about the use of this instrument. Method: this is an exploratory descriptive research with a qualitative approach, which was carried out in pediatric inpatient units in two hospitals in the city of Guarapuava, PR. Results: in view of the data analysis, two thematic categories emerged: - The role of the nursing professional with the Therapeutic Toy approaching their knowledge on the subject, showing that the instrument is unknown by the team, and; - The Therapeutic Toy as an ally in child care where it presents the intervention with two children hospitalized in the pediatrics of the hospitals participating in the study and the perception of professionals regarding the effects of hospitalization on the child and the recognition of the importance of the therapeutic toy in the period of hospitalization of children. Conclusion: the study made it possible to understand that the Therapeutic Toy, from the moment it is offered to the child, establishes an interaction and relationship of trust between the child and the team. Although professionals recognize the importance of Therapeutic Toy, there is a need to prepare nurses from their training to the development of their practice so that it can be used by everyone who works with children
