O AUXÍLIO DO PRONTUÁRIO ELETRÔNICO NA ASSISTÊNCIA DE ENFERMAGEM: UMA REVISÃO INTEGRATIVA DE LITERATURA
O PEP (Prontuário Eletrônico do Paciente) serve como uma estrutura eletrônica para preservação de informações relacionadas à saúde de um indivíduo e o cuidado oferecido pelo Enfermeiro e equipe multiprofissional durante toda vida, inserindo-se como um facilitador surgido nas redes de saúde por volta de 1960. Estudos comprovam que a utilização da informática na assistência de enfermagem produz benefícios na prática diária do enfermeiro. O estudo objetivou reunir estudos sobre a contribuição do prontuário eletrônico na assistência de enfermagem, a fim de aprofundar os conhecimentos sobre o tema, mostrar o impacto facilitador da informática que contribui na assistência de saúde e evidenciar a importância da organização informatizada na enfermagem. Trata-se de uma revisão integrativa de literatura, com busca realizada em Maio de 2019. Foi utilizada a Biblioteca Virtual de Saúde (BVS) como base de dados, com os descritores "enfermagem" and "prontuário eletrônico”. Os critérios de inclusão foram: artigos completos em português publicados entre 2013 e 2019, a partir destes encontrou-se 54 artigos publicados. Foram excluídos estudos onde o resumo não estava voltado para os objetivos desta pesquisa. Após a utilização dos critérios de inclusão e exclusão, a amostra final da pesquisa constituiu-se de 7 artigos. A enfermagem é fundamental no desenvolvimento e operacionalização do prontuário do paciente e a informática traz benefícios para este âmbito assistencial. O PEP auxilia na organização da documentação e monitoramento dos dados, evita erros na transcrição e leitura de informações e promove economia de tempo do profissional na execução de suas tarefas. Sendo assim, aperfeiçoa o desempenho profissional, a qualidade do atendimento e fluxo de trabalho. Dado o exposto, as instituições de saúde podem reorganizar seus métodos de registros de informações com a aplicação de ferramentas informatizadas como o PEP, pois contribui na melhoria da assistência prestada e segurança do paciente e equipe de enfermagem.

Abstract:
The PEP (Electronic Patient Record) serves as an electronic structure for the preservation of information related to the health of an individual and the care offered by the Nurse and multidisciplinary team throughout his life, inserting himself as a facilitator that appeared in the health networks around 1960. Studies prove that the use of information technology in nursing care produces benefits in the daily practice of nurses. The study aimed to gather studies on the contribution of electronic medical records in nursing care, in order to deepen knowledge on the topic, show the facilitating impact of information technology that contributes to health care and highlight the importance of computerized organization in nursing. This is an integrative literature review, with a search conducted in May 2019. The Virtual Health Library (VHL) was used as the database, with the descriptors "nursing" and "electronic medical record." The inclusion criteria were: full articles in Portuguese published between 2013 and 2019, 54 published articles were found based on these studies, studies where the abstract was not focused on the objectives of this research were excluded. After using the inclusion and exclusion criteria, the final sample of The research consisted of 7 articles. Nursing is fundamental in the development and operationalization of the patient's medical record and information technology brings benefits to this assistance scope. PEP helps in the organization of documentation and data monitoring, avoids errors in the transcription and reading of information and promotes professional time savings in the performance of their tasks. Therefore, it improves professional performance quality of care and work flow. Given the above, health institutions can reorganize their methods of recording information with the application of computerized tools such as PEP, as it contributes to improving the care provided and the safety of the patient and nursing staff.
