O adolescer nos dias atuais: uma análise da série Adolescência

• Abstract: The present work intends to analyze the main issues surrounding adolescence, its characteristics, vulnerabilities, adaptation, and adjustment in society, and to reflect on how adolescence is increasingly influenced by technology today, how early and frequent contact with social media can lead to changes in adolescent behavior, and how digital devices can harm their development. Methods: A search and data collection were conducted through academic texts on Google Scholar and SciELO/Br to produce this bibliographic research work. The descriptors used were "adolescence," "development," and "technology." The inclusion criteria were articles published in the last fifteen years with free and open access. Articles not directly related to the objective of the work were excluded. Results: Thirteen base articles were selected to obtain results on the topic, thus enabling the analysis of all the issues cited in the objective of this chapter. Final considerations: From the analysis of the data obtained about the series, it was observed and concluded that adolescence is being crossed by several transformations arising from the digital world, more specifically from social networks.
