Abstract: This article is about the performance of Specialized Educational Service teachers. The general objective was to reflect on the pedagogical practices developed in the inclusive classroom with a child with indications of high abilities/giftedness. To this end, we carried out a case study with a child we named as João. From the case analysis, it was found that the specialized educational service teacher has a fundamental role in guiding the teachers in the inclusive classroom, who must prepare the Individualized Educational Plan, indicating which actions and strategies are essential in the inclusive classroom. In the same sense, the specialized educational service teacher needs to develop activities with the child, always aligning actions with the teacher in the classroom. In the study carried out, we understand that for João, activities that prioritize and involve the development of his skills are fundamental, since he is a child in the process of acquiring knowledge and needs to receive stimuli to understand his specific characteristics and enrich his learning, as well such as school knowledge.
