O ACERVO ICONOGRÁFICO LYGIA SAMPAIO – MRA E AS POTENCIALIDADES DE PRESERVAÇÃO DE FONTES DA HISTÓRIA DA ARTE MODERNA BAIANA
Este relato visa apresentar a importância do trabalho de preservação da memória realizado pelo Museu Regional de Arte (MRA), através de seu espaço multifuncional: o Atelier de Conservação Preventiva. Dentre os processos metodológicos experimentados constam o tratamento do acervo doado pela artista modernista baiana, Lygia Sampaio; composto por gravuras, pinturas, livros e revistas de diversas naturezas e origens. O trato com o acervo em questão após triagem e identificação, resultou no registro em de itens e separação conforme categorias temáticas, elencando uma mostra de seus componentes mais pertinentes à preservação. Após procedimentos técnicos de higienização de componentes com maior sujidade e/ou odor, toma corpo um conjunto significativo de referenciais que dão forma a uma Bahia de outrora, que respirava os ares da inquietação, advindos com o desafio modernista nas artes plásticas. Dentre os próximos passos estão a digitalização de conteúdos, iniciado pelos de maior fragilidade e raridade, preparando-os para posterior compartilhamento em suportes digitais, possibilitando acesso a informações, construção e difusão de conhecimentos. A equipe multidisciplinar, responsável pelas atividades, tem embasou-se em análises teóricas e práticas para sistematização e comunicação dos referidos acervos. Os resultados parciais indicam a presença de documentos (em diferentes suportes) um banco de dados que pode embasar leituras não só sobre o traço e as criações dessa artista, mas que permitem evidenciar testemunhos materiais dos contextos socioculturais que também influenciou artistas como Carybé, Mário Cravo, Jenner Augusto e Mário Cravo, realizadores, junto a Lygia Sampaio do Movimento Modernista Baiano. Conforma-se que ao proporcionar o entendimento da obra modernista através da recepção, tratamento e compartilhamento de documentos, o MRA contribui para o estudo e interpretação desta expressão e de sua valorização.

Abstract:
This report aims to present the importance of the memory preservation work carried out by the Regional Art Museum (MRA), through its multifunctional space: the Preventive Conservation Workshop. Among the methodological processes are the collection of the collection donated by the modernist artist from Bahia, Lygia Sampaio, composed of engravings, paintings, books and magazines of various natures and origins. The treatment with the collection in question after sorting and identification resulted in the inventory registration, item cataloging and separation according to thematic categories, listing a sample of its most pertinent components to preservation. After technical procedures to sanitize components with more dirt and / or odor, a significant set of frames forms that form a Bahia of yesteryear, which breathed the air of restlessness, resulting from the modernist challenge in the plastic arts. The next step is the digitization of content, initiated by the most fragile and rarity, preparing them for later sharing in digital media. The multidisciplinary team, responsible for the activities, has been based on theoretical and practical analysis for systematization and communication of these collections. The partial results indicate the presence of documents (in different media), based on a reading not only about the trait and the creations of this artist, but also allows to highlight the context that influenced artists like Carybé, Mário Cravo, among others. It is understood that by providing the understanding of the modernist work through the reception, treatment and sharing of documents, the MRA contributes to the study and interpretation of this movement and its appreciation.
