O ACERVO DO DEPARTAMENTO DE OCEANOGRAFIA DA UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO RIO GRANDE: RELATO DE EXPERIÊNCIA
Este trabalho tem como objetivo
apresentar o diagnóstico e as intervenções
realizados no acervo do extinto Departamento
de Oceanografia e da Universidade Federal
do Rio Grande - FURG. Ao iniciar o processo
de tratamento arquivístico, foram realizadas
atividades de ordenação, arquivamento e
descrição de parte do conjunto documental,
apoiadas em referenciais teóricos que as
sustentaram e dirigiram. Conclui tecendo
reflexões sobre a necessidade de continuidade
do trabalho, bem como acerca de suas
potencialidades como parte do patrimônio
documental universitário.

Abstract:
This work aims to present the
diagnosis and interventions made in the archive
group of the extinct Department of Oceanography
and the Federal University of Rio Grande -
FURG. At the beginning of the process of archival
treatment, activities of ordering, archiving and
description of part of the documentary set were
carried out, supported by theoretical references
that supported and directed them. It concludes
by weaving reflections on the need for continuity
of work, as well as on its potentialities as part of
the university documentary heritage.
