NUTRIENTES ANTIOXIDANTES: CORRELAÇÃO ENTRE O ESTRESSE OXIDATIVO E INFLAMAÇÃO EM PACIENTES COM INSUFICIÊNCIA CARDÍACA
A insuficiência cardíaca
é uma condição em que o coração é incapaz
de bombear sangue na corrente sanguínea
em quantidade suficiente para dar resposta às
necessidades do corpo. O tratamento a base de nutrientes antioxidantes eleva o quadro de melhora desses pacientes. Objetivo: A
presente pesquisa objetivou em descrever por meio da revisão de literatura sobre o
papel dos nutrientes antioxidantes correlacionando o estresse oxidativo e inflamação
em pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca. Metodologia: O presente estudo trata-se
do tipo revisão de literatura. Utilizou-se as bases de dados Scielo, ScienceDirect e
PubMed com o recorte temporal de 2013 a 2018. Resultado E Discussão: Sabe-se
hoje que um adequado suporte nutricional, com modulação dos micronutrientes com
atividade antioxidante ou que funcionem como cofatores para elementos antioxidantes,
é capaz de reduzir o estresse oxidativo e o processo inflamatório, principalmente
por modular fatores de transcrição gênica responsáveis pela geração de resposta a
estímulos extracelulares ou de modificação do meio interno da célula. Conclusão: É
de grande importância que a restauração de uma ingestão adequada de antioxidantes
seja considerada como estratégia terapêutica na IC.

Abstract:
Heart failure is a condition in which the heart is unable to
pump blood into the bloodstream in sufficient quantity to meet the needs of the body.
The treatment the basis of antioxidant nutrients raises the instrument of improvement
of these patients. Objective: The present study aimed to describe through a review
of the literature on the role of antioxidant nutrients correlating the oxidative stress and
inflammation in patients with congestive heart failure. Methodology: The present
study it is of type A review of the literature. We used the databases PubMed and Scielo,
ScienceDirect with temporal clipping from 2013 to 2018. Results and Discussion:
today it is known that an adequate nutritional support, with modulation of micronutrients
with antioxidant activity or which act as cofactors for antioxidant elements, is able to
reduce the oxidative and inflammatory process, mainly by modulating gene transcription
factors responsible for generating response to extracellular stimuli or modification of
the internal environment of the cell. Conclusion: It is of great importance that the
restoration of an adequate intake of antioxidants is considered as a therapeutic strategy
in HF.
