NURSING FACING PALLIATIVE CARE: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW
O ato de cuidar é intrínseco da enfermagem, neste sentido, os cuidados paliativos estão voltados a oferecer o conforto, bem-estar e qualidade de vida do paciente grave ou em final de vida. Neste artigo abordaremos intervenções em cuidados paliativos e os sentimentos dos envolvidos neste processo. Objetivos: Conhecer a experiência e os sentimentos de pacientes, cuidadores e enfermeiros diante dos cuidados paliativos. Conhecer as intervenções mais comuns em cuidados paliativos. Objetivos específicos: Conhecer quais são as principais origens de desgaste e fortalecimento do processo de cuidar em cuidados paliativos. Sugerir intervenções para fortalecimento da saúde mental do profissional enfermeiro. Método: revisão integrativa, com abordagem qualitativa, utilizando buscas realizadas nas fontes de dados, SciELO, BVS e CAPES, realizadas em março de 2021 usando descritores relativos à enfermagem e cuidados paliativos. Resultados: A maioria dos estudos foi publicada no Brasil e utilizaram abordagem qualitativa. Os sentimentos foram classificados como: positivos, negativos, de ambivalência e sobrecarga. As intervenções foram classificadas como: Intervenções relacionadas à equipe de saúde e cuidadores, intervenções assistenciais (ao paciente) e intervenções de políticas públicas. Considerações finais: A sugestão para solucionar os potenciais de desgaste dos enfermeiros em cuidados paliativos está relacionada à adesão de oficinas emancipatórias. Foram limitações para este estudo: dificuldade para evidenciar as intervenções realizadas nos estudos selecionados e a exclusão de artigos que discorrem especificamente sobre oncologia, pediatria ou estudantes de enfermagem e medicina.

Abstract:
The act of caring is intrinsic to nursing, in this sense, palliative care is exclusively focused on the comfort, well-being and quality of life of critically ill patients or those at the end of life. In this article, we will address palliative care interventions and the feelings of those involved in this process. Objectives: To know the experience and feelings of those who perform and those who receive palliative care. Know the most common interventions in palliative care. Specific objectives: To know what are the potentials for stress and strengthening of the care process in palliative care. Suggest interventions to strengthen the mental health of professional nurses. Method: integrative review, with a qualitative approach, using searches carried out in data sources, SciELO, BVS and CAPES, carried out in March 2021 using descriptors related to nursing and palliative care. Results: Most studies were published in Brazil and used a qualitative approach. Feelings were classified as: positive, negative, ambivalence and overload. Interventions were classified as: Interventions related to the health team and caregivers, assistance interventions (to the patient) and public policy interventions. Final considerations: The suggestion to solve the potential for exhaustion of nurses in palliative care is related to the adhesion to emancipatory workshops. Limitations for this study were: difficulty in highlighting the interventions carried out in the selected studies and the exclusion of articles that specifically address oncology, pediatrics or nursing and medicine students.
