NTFS: ELUCIDAÇÕES INTRODUTÓRIAS DE SISTEMA DE ARQUIVOS
O presente trabalho tem o objetivo de propiciar determinadas elucidações introdutórias concernentes a sistema de arquivos. É parte de uma pesquisa qualitativa em andamento na qual é efetuada uma apresentação de um conceito geral de sistema de arquivos, onde abordamos as funções e/ou os papéis principais que desempenha um sistema de arquivos. Ademais, o trabalho externa uma abordagem sobre a estrutura e implementação de diretórios, sobre método de alocação, gerenciamento de espaço livre, eficiência e desempenho e traz aclarações a respeito de recuperação e informações armazenadas no FCB.

Abstract:
The present work aims to provide certain introductory elucidations concerning the file system. It is part of an ongoing qualitative research in which a general concept of a file system is presented, where we address the main functions and/or roles played by a file system. In addition, the work externalizes an approach on the structure and implementation of directories, on the allocation method, free space management, efficiency and performance and brings clarifications regarding recovery and information stored in the FCB.
