NOTAS SOBRE A INCLUSÃO DE ATLETAS TRANSGÊNERO NO ESPORTE
O presente estudo trata-se de
uma revisão de literatura que contextualiza
e problematiza a inclusão e permanência do
atleta transgênero no esporte. Observa-se que
nos últimos anos, a presença de atletas LGBTs
vem aumentando significativamente e sabe-se
que o esporte possui uma eficácia simbólica
social que pode contribuir para a construção
de novas identidades de gênero. Entretanto,
por se tratar de um fenômeno que pertence
ao binarismo (masculino/feminino), reflexo da
organização da sociedade, o atleta transgênero
torna-se um sujeito que “destoa” dos demais.
Logo, esse sujeito é visto como “abjeto”
carregado de valores e julgamentos negativos
e preconceituosos. A heterossexualidade antes
tomada como pressuposto compulsório tende
aos poucos ser superada frente à incorporação
de novas representações no esporte atual,
independente da norma instituída em razão
do sexo e da biologia. Percebe-se o atleta
transcendendo as barreiras (sexo/gênero)
e desafiando a compreensão dos padrões
estabelecidos, postulando a produção de outros
sujeitos, que tencionam os modelos vigentes.

Abstract:
The present study deals with
a literature review that contextualizes and
problematizes the inclusion and permanence of
the transgender athlete in sport. It is observed
that in recent years, the presence of LGBT
athletes has been increasing significantly and it
is known that the sport has a social symbolic
efficacy that can contribute to the construction
of new gender identities. However, because it is
a phenomenon that belongs to binarism (male /
female), a reflection of the organization of society,
the transgender athlete becomes a subject
that “distorts” others. Therefore, this subject is
seen as “abject” laden with negative values and
judgments and prejudices. The heterosexuality
previously taken as a compulsory presupposition
tends to be overcome by the incorporation
of new representations in the current sport,
independent of the norm established by reason
of sex and biology. The athlete is perceived as
transcending the barriers (sex / gender) and
challenging the understanding of established
patterns, postulating the production of other
subjects, who intend the current models.
