NOS COMPASSOS DO FOLCLORE E DA RELIOGIOSIDADE: ASSOCIAÇÃO DO FOLCLORE DE PARINTINS COM PROCESSO RELIGIOSO DE NOSSA SENHORA DO CARMO
O Folclore de Parintins é conhecido como a maior manifestação cultural popular da região Norte, encanto turistas. O Festival Folclórico de Parintins acontece no último final de semana do mês de Junho e duas semanas após, ocorre a festa de Nossa Senhora do Carmo, o evento religioso que eleva a devoção à padroeira além de promover as relações entre os participantes. O objetivo deste trabalho é analisar como se associa o folclore de Parintins com o evento de Nossa Senhora do Carmo. A abordagem é qualitativa por fazer uma análise profunda do objeto de pesquisa, e os objetivos metodológicos consideram-se o estudo exploratório, por se aprofundar no assunto, e descritivo por explicar o porquê dos fenômenos associados. Observou-se nesta pesquisa que os bois Caprichoso e Garantido, protagonistas durante o folclore, homenageiam em devoção e agradecem a padroeira local, e no evento de Nossa Senhora do Carmo faz-se referências aos bois com apresentações de grupos locais. Os líderes dos eventos têm o apoio dos moradores e torcedores dos bois, sendo assim analisou-se a importância que a população tem para os dois acontecimentos. Constatou-se que tanto o festival de Parintins como o evento de Nossa Senhora do Carmo proveem dos populares, predominantemente católicos, valorizantes das tradições religiosas e folclóricas, orgulhosos das raízes indígenas, onde os eventos promovem Parintins ao reconhecimento não só no Norte, mas no Brasil e exterior. Foi observado que os habitantes católicos de Parintins mantém seus compromissos a santa, cumprindo diligentemente seus ritos de agradecimentos afim de não perder a sua proteção, além da presença da santa nas toadas e na arena, com a evolução dos bois. Acredita-se na necessidade de estudar mais sobre o processo religioso e as inclusões sociais ocorrida não só em Parintins como, também nos eventos religiosos que ocorrem em outras localidades da região Amazônica.

Abstract:
The Folklore of Parintins is known as the largest popular cultural event in the North region, delighting tourists. The Parintins Folklore Festival takes place on the last weekend of June and two weeks later, there is the feast of Nossa Senhora do Carmo, the religious event that raises the devotion to the patron saint and promotes relationships between the participants. The objective of this work is to analyze how the folklore of Parintins is associated with the event of Nossa Senhora do Carmo. The approach is qualitative because it makes a deep analysis of the research object, and the methodological objectives are considered exploratory study, because it goes deeper into the subject, and descriptive because it explains the reasons for the associated phenomena. It was observed in this research that the Caprichoso and Garantido oxen, protagonists during the folklore, pay homage to and thank the local patron saint, and at the Nossa Senhora do Carmo event, references are made to oxen with presentations by local groups. The leaders of the events have the support of the residents and supporters of the oxen, thus the importance that the population has for the two events was analyzed. It was found that both the festival of Parintins and the Nossa Senhora do Carmo event come from the popular, predominantly Catholics, who value the religious and folkloric traditions, proud of the indigenous roots, where the events promote Parintins' recognition not only in the North, but in the Brazil and abroad. It was observed that the Catholic inhabitants of Parintins maintain their commitments to the saint, diligently fulfilling their rites of thanks in order not to lose their protection, in addition to the presence of the saint in the toadas and in the arena, with the evolution of the oxen. It is believed that there is a need to study more about the religious process and social inclusions that occurred not only in Parintins but also in religious events that take place in other locations in the Amazon region.
