Temos observado um processo
crescente de articulação dos movimentos
socioterritoriais em rede e também o uso de redes
sociais online pelos movimentos socioespaciais
como uma importante via para organização de
manifestações e difusão de informações em
escala local-global. Diante deste horizonte de
uso e articulação em redes visamos analisar
sob o enfoque geográfico a atualidade da luta
dos movimentos socioterritoriais camponeses
no Brasil e na Argentina desde 1988 e dos
movimentos socioespaciais urbanos que tem
se destacado na atualidade com a finalidade de
compreender as formas de uso e mostrar como
as redes sociais online tem alterado e criado
uma nova dinâmica nas lutas dos movimentos.

Abstract:
Increasingly, socio-territorial
movements have been organizing themselves
in the form of networks, and the use of online
social networks by socio-spatial movements is
fast becoming an ever more important means
for organizing demonstrations and information
dissemination on a local and global scale. In
light of these trends, we aim to analyze, with a
geographic focus, the socio-territorial struggle
of peasant movements in Brazil and Argentina
since 1988 and the growing socio-spatial urban
movement that has emerged in both countries.
In particular, we will explore the ways in which
online social networks are currently being
used in the two countries by socio-spatial and
socio-territorial movements and examine the
way in which the these networks and their use
have changed over time, now representing a
new and important dynamic in the struggles of
movements
