NÍVEL DE EFICIÊNCIA DOS CURSOS NA MODALIDADE EAD DA UNIVERSIDADE ESTADUAL DE PONTA GROSSA (UEPG): UM ESTUDO COMPARATIVO ENTRE UM CURSO DE BACHARELADO E UM CURSO DE LICENCIATURA

Pessoal de Ensino Superior (CAPES) divulga
anualmente o nível de eficiência dos cursos de
graduação ofertados pelo Projeto Universidade
Aberta do Brasil (UAB). No presente artigo
foi realizada a análise do nível de eficiência
dos cursos de graduação de licenciatura em
Educação Física e Administração Pública
da Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa
(UEPG). Foram abordadas três variáveis para
a avaliação do nível de eficiência, quer sejam:
o total de vagas, o número de matriculados
e o número de formados. Nos resultados
encontrados obteve-se que o índice para
o curso de Educação Física é de 81,09%,
enquanto que para a Administração Pública é
de 58,60%. Dessa forma o nível de eficiência
do curso em licenciatura em relação ao curso
de bacharelado é superior em 22,49%. Dentre
vários fatores para essa significativa diferença,
destaca-se o fato da licenciatura em Educação
Física se comportar metodologicamente como
um curso híbrido, com utilização de algumas
formas de metodologias ativas, enquanto que o
curso de bacharelado em Administração Pública
se caracterizar por um curso com característica
quase que exclusivas na modalidade de
Educação a Distância (EaD).

Abstract:
The Coordination of Personal
Improvement of Higher Education (CAPES)
annually discloses the level of efficiency
of undergraduate courses offered by the
Open University of Brazil (UAB) Project. In
the present article, the efficiency level of
undergraduate courses in Physical Education
and Public Administration of the Ponta Grossa
State University (UEPG) was analyzed. Three
variables were considered for the evaluation
of the level of efficiency, either: total number
of places, number of students enrolled and
number of graduates. In the results found it
was obtained that the index for the Physical
Education course is 81.09%, whereas for the
Public Administration it is 58.60%. In this way, the level of efficiency of the degree
course in relation to the baccalaureate degree is 22.49% higher. Among several factors
for this significant difference, the fact that the degree in Physical Education behaves
methodologically as a hybrid course, using some forms of active methodologies, while
the baccalaureate course in Public Administration is characterized by a course with
almost exclusively in the Distance Education (EAD) modality.
