NISIA FLORESTA E A LUTA PELA EDUCAÇÃO FEMININA
Esta pesquisa possui como tema a vida de Nísia Floresta e sua luta pela educação feminina.
Considerada uma pioneira do feminismo no Brasil, a escritora e educadora Nísia Floresta, foi
de extrema importância na luta pela emancipação das mulheres e na defesa de outras minorias
oprimidas pela sociedade da época. No tempo em que a grande maioria das mulheres vivia
reprimida e subjugada, ela dirigia colégios para moças, colaborava em jornais e escrevia livros
defendendo os direitos das mulheres, dos índios e dos escravizados. Neste sentido, o objetivo
geral desta pesquisa busca compreender como se deu o acesso da mulher à educação, analisando
a luta feminista no Brasil do século XIX, partindo do ponto de vista de Nísia Floresta,
protagonista dessa luta na época. Assim, os objetivos específicos buscam apresentar a história
de vida de Nísia Floresta, descrever o contexto histórico que Nísia Floresta esteve inserida
durante sua vida, e por fim, compreender todo o panorama histórico e evolutivo da luta pela
educação feminina. A metodologia escolhida para esta pesquisa foi a de revisão bibliográfica.
Conclui-se que Nísia exerceu importante papel na conquista ao direitos para mulheres no Brasil,
onde se destaca a luta pela educação feminina.

Abstract:
This research has as its theme the life of Nísia Floresta and her struggle for female education.
Considered a pioneer of feminism in Brazil, the writer and educator Nísia Floresta, was
extremely important in the struggle for the emancipation of women and in the defense of other
minorities oppressed by the society of the time. At a time when the vast majority of women
were repressed and subdued, she ran schools for girls, collaborated in newspapers and wrote
books defending the rights of women, Indians and the enslaved. In this sense, the general
objective of this research seeks to understand how women had access to education, analyzing
the feminist struggle in Brazil in the 19th century, from the point of view of Nísia Floresta,
protagonist of that struggle at the time. Thus, the specific objectives seek to present the life
story of Nísia Floresta, describe the historical context that Nísia Floresta was inserted during
her life, and finally, understand the entire historical and evolutionary panorama of the struggle
for female education. The methodology chosen for this research was that of bibliographic
review. It is concluded that Nísia played an important role in the conquest of rights for women
in Brazil, where the struggle for female education stands out. -
