Nicolau Alekhine no Arquivo IPHAN-SP: Uma abordagem etnográfica
O presente artigo é um breve
relato da pesquisa desenvolvida no âmbito
do Mestrado Profissional em Preservação do
Patrimônio Cultural do Instituto do Patrimônio
Histórico e Artístico Nacional – IPHAN, que
foi apresentada no 30º Simpósio Nacional de
História organizado pela Associação Nacional
de História – ANPUH, entre os dias 15 e 19
de julho de 2019, na Universidade Federal de
Pernambuco. A pesquisa utiliza a metodologia
etnográfica para investigar o arquivo particular
de Nicolau Alekhine, institucionalizado na
década de 1960, e busca trazer luz sobre a
história de seu titular e do próprio arquivo,
dando ênfase aos processos de transferência
pelos quais o arquivo passou, bem como os
agentes responsáveis.

Abstract:
This article is a brief account
of the research developed in scope of the
Professional Master career in the Preservation
of Cultural Heritage of the Institute of National
Historic and Artistic Heritage – IPHAN, was
present at the 30th National Symposioum of
History organized by the National History
Association – ANPUH, between July 15 and 19,
2019, at the Federal University of Pernambuco.
The research uses ethnographic methodology
to investigate the private archive of Nicolau
Alekhine, institutionalized in the 1960s, and
elucidate the history of this owner and your
archive, emphasizing the transfer processes,
and the responsible agents.
