Abstract: Producing support for educational processes on digital devices is an activity inherent to digital culture, if we consider that we are surrounded by this environment. Knowing about real situations of educational care for atypical children, with some neurodivergence, and the possibility of creating some kind of educational software that could complement the activities of teachers who care for children with special educational needs, we asked ourselves what educational software could mediate activities that contribute playfully to the learning processes of atypical children? Based on initial studies and contacts with a teacher from the municipal education network, we decided to produce a digital game with content appropriate to that addressed by the teacher. The aim of this research was to create a digital game that integrated specific pedagogical concepts adapted to the needs of atypical children with down syndrome or autism spectrum disorder, at their different levels of support, with the aim of promoting an interactive and inclusive learning environment. The research methodology used is based on design, Design Science Research with elements of Design Based Research, divided into three phases: initial, development and final. The prototypes were created and evaluated collaboratively with the members of the working group, the supervising teacher, the teacher and the students (with special educational needs). The initial evaluations of the prototype produced results that were used to produce new versions that were evaluated again for two more iterations, resulting in a functional version that could be evaluated and tested. The results obtained from the final evaluation indicated the need for improvements in terms of children's interaction with the games, and the need for production for mobile devices, with important elements for student interaction with this interface.
