Abstract: Education and neuroscience have always been close, but it was never thought of working both for the same cause. Recently, on the international scene, publications have intensified and the discussion between Neuroscience and Educational Sciences has rekindled. There are many barriers that delay the partnership of the case. Myths have been propagated that a problem has been created in the progress of cognitive neuroscience in several relevant areas of education. This article brings some relevant points that would help facilitate the understanding of the educator in relation to the student and that the partnership between Neuroscience and Education can work. The definition of neuroscience will be addressed; the learning process; the educator and knowledge about neuroscience. This allows us to have an understanding of what neuroscience and education are and what possible paths to take.
